The Arc He drew
Whilst my way to back to the city, as I looked out through the bus window, I saw a colorful painting He drew. He has always amazed me by His artistry and this time it was no different. On His canvas, called sky, a beautiful piece of His exemplary work was radiating all the exuberance it could!
Scientifically, it is an arc of colored light in the sky caused by refraction of the sun's rays by rain. But to the lover of His creations it’s a picturesque scene; it’s the culmination of all the beautiful colors that make life so vibrant, so rich!
Kids can’t control their joy as they discuss seeing it the other day, after rains poured heavily and then the sun, from nowhere in scene, just popped up to say “Hi! I hadn’t gone anywhere. It’s just that the rains told me to count up to 100 so that it could hide itself. Now I am back and am wondering where has the rain gone!!! So I’ll just scan the sky and try tracing the droplets to find something about the rains whereabouts.” And then we all see that gorgeous arc.
Being a lover of colors, the sight of something so naturally pretty, satisfies not only the eyes but also the heart. It’s so strange that no matter how sad one might be but something beautiful; mother’s warm touch, brother’s strong shoulder to lay a worried head on, a sister’s little concern, a child’s innocent smile…and many more things, makes one feel relaxed for at least some time. Nature has a vast collection from which it now-and-then keeps exhibiting one masterpiece at a time or sometimes even more.
For Him its just another creation, we earthlings call it a rainbow.
